Identity checks can be carried out by our payment service provider for security reasons (attempted fraud, etc). The Okpal finance team can therefore request documents via email to verify the identity of the donor.
These checks are made right after a project owner wants to retrieve his campaign's funds. Please know that funds cannot be transferred if the requested information is not provided by donors.
